Our Story

How After Dark Was Born

When The Squire Group moved into 8039 Line Avenue, Suite 1A, the space next door was vacant. It had previously been a hospice care office and needed an incredible facelift. The original plan was to turn it into an extension of our insurance agency where we could host lunch and learns, client appreciation events, and networking events.

Then we finished the renovations. The space had become such a beautiful place that nearly everyone who walked in asked if they could rent it. After enough rental inquiries, the answer became obvious. The Squire Group After Dark was born and officially launched in January 2025.

Words Over Lattes is where singles meet, couples spice up date night, friends reconnect, and talent takes flight. Every Monday night, the room fills with poetry, live music, comedy, and people who came to be part of it.

Join us at the After Dark Art Gallery for lunch surrounded by real art from local artists. Each week features a different food truck or caterer, plus happy hour drink specials with cocktails, mocktails, and mimosas. Guided gallery tours are available upon request.

A Starting Point Before We Build The Details

Events under four hours use our standard hourly rates. Events lasting four hours or more receive a discounted hourly rate. Weddings, full day events, ticketed productions, and events with unusual setup needs receive a custom quote.

Friday And Saturday

$300/hr Under 4 hours
$250/hr 4 hours or more

Sunday

$200/hr Under 4 hours
$175/hr 4 hours or more

Monday Through Thursday

$150/hr Under 4 hours
$100/hr 4 hours or more

Setup and breakdown time must be included in the booking window. Security, bar service, decor, event insurance, and special production needs may affect the final quote. We explain every charge before you book.
